Kiser CPR - Terms and Conditions

See below for the terms and conditions of our cancellation, reschedule, and No-show policy for all courses and bookings.

Booking Policies

All students must accept the terms and conditions of our bookings policies prior to registration. Our policies are not meant to make it difficult to cancel or reschedule or a course. However, many of our classes fill up. If you take a seat in our course and don't show up, you are often taking a seat from a person who otherwise would have been there.

Cancellation Policy

Students may cancel a booking 72 hours (or more) prior to the course date and time and receive a full refund. If student cancels registration less than 72 hours but before 24 hours in advance of the course date and time, a partial refund may be rewarded (up to 50% of booking fees less any deposits). If student attempts to cancel class within 24 hours of course date and time, no refund will be issued, but student will have the option to reschedule course one time per the reschedule policy.

Reschedule Policy

Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule a course, you may do so at no cost if reschedule is requested 48 hours or more prior to the course. You may only reschedule one time, and rescheduled appointments are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. If reschedule is requested within 48 hours of the course, a $25 reschedule fee will be applied prior to attendance in the course. If student "no-call, no-show's" to a course and requests to reschedule after their missed course, the student will be required to pay the full catalog price of their desired course prior to registration. For further explanation on no-call, no-show, please refer the the No-Show policy below.

No-Show Policy

If a student does not call or email prior to a course and does not attend the course, this policy will be utilized as they are deemed a "No-call, no-show". In the event of no-call, no-show, the student will forfeit any monies paid for the course as they took a seat in the class that would have otherwise been taken by a paying student.

If student had only paid a deposit for the course and has not paid the balance, their card will be charged a $40 fee in the event of a no-call no-show. An email will be sent the student when they are marked as a no-show with the explanation of this policy.

Deposit Policy

For certain courses, like ACLS, PALS, and NRP students are able to make a deposit online and pay the balance in person. This is made for convenience of the student who cannot pay the full balance upon registration due to financial constraints. This deposit is non-refundable. However, if a student pays the full balance and wishes to cancel or reschedule the course within the cancellation and reschedule policies, the student is eligible for refund totalling the catalog price for the class minus the deposit.

For students attending Basic Life Support, First Aid & CPR, Pediatric First Aid & CPR, and Community CPR: If full payment for the course cannot be made at time of booking, students can call us directly and make a $15 deposit over the phone. This is non-refundable. If student put's down a deposit and then does not show up for the class (and doesn't not call us to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours prior to the course) the students card will be charged for the full amount of the class minus the $15 deposit that was already paid.

Accidental Booking Policy

If a student books a course with us and pays either the full amount or the deposit and realizes they do not need the course, or they need to schedule a different day, they can call us and cancel/reschedule the course with a full refund (for cancellations). This is regardless of how close the class is to starting. However, this cancellation must take place no more than 3 hours after the initial booking. If the student books a class and calls after the 3 hour mark to cancel, the normal cancellation and reschedule policies will be used.
