Service Description
AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) course for advanced providers. This course is a one-day blended course. With our busy lives, it's hard to sit through a two-day initial PALS course. To complete this course students must complete "part 1" online at home before attending our one-day skills session. To complete this course students must complete "part 1" online at home before attending our one-day skills session. Information on Part 1 will be sent to you via email after registration and is at no additional cost to you. Who should take this course: - Nurses (LVN, RN) - APP's (PA's, NP's) - Physicians - Paramedics - Respiratory Therapists What does the in-person skills session include: - Basic Life Support Skills Verification - Airway Management - IO insertion - Care of Bradycardic patients - Care of Tachycardic Patients - Care of Respiratory Emergencies - Care of Shock Emergencies Course deposit: $100 non-refundable deposit must be made at time of registration. This covers the online portion through the AHA elearning platform. If student cannot make the in-person skills session, student can apply deposit to a rescheduled class one time. Course books: Books are not included in this course. Student MUST bring a copy of the 2020 PALS Provider Manual to class with them. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Students may cancel a booking 72 hours (or more) prior to the course date and time and receive a full refund. If student cancels registration less than 72 hours but before 24 hours in advance of the course date and time, a partial refund may be rewarded (up to 50% of booking fees). If student attempts to cancel class within 24 hours of course date and time, no refund will be issued, but student will have the option to reschedule course one time per the reschedule policy. Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule a course, you may do so at no cost if reschedule is requested 48 hours or more prior to the course. You may only reschedule one time, and rescheduled appointments are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. If reschedule is requested within 48 hours of the course, a $25 reschedule fee will be applied prior to attendance in the course. If student "no-call, no-show's" to a course and requests to reschedule after their missed course, the student will be required to pay the full catalog price of their desired course prior to registration.
