AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS Initial course for COR Nursing Students
Service Description
Students have the option to take one or all of the course options. Course Agenda: 0900: ACLS course begins Included in course: - BLS Refresher - Heart Blocks - Bradycardia with a pulse - Tachycardia with a pulse - Megacode Practice - ROSC Care 1300: Lunch 1400: PALS Starts Course Agenda - The Initial Assessment - Respiratory Emergencies - Shock Emergencies - Treatment of Arrhythmias Participants must complete the Precourse self assessment AND the Precourse Work prior to attending class and bring the completion certificate with them to the course. Instructions for completing the precourse work will be emailed after registration. Who should take this course: - Nurses (LVN, RN) - APP's (PA's, NP's) - Physicians - Paramedics - Respiratory Therapists Course deposit: $100 non-refundable deposit must be made at time of registration. Student can apply deposit to a rescheduled class one time. Course books: Books are NOT included in this course. Student MUST bring a copy of the 2020 ACLS or PALS Provider Manual(s) to class with them. Those can be purchased directly from the AHA or from us at: https://www.kisercpr.com/aha-student-materials
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy: Students may cancel a booking 72 hours (or more) prior to the course date and time and receive a full refund. If student cancels registration less than 72 hours but before 24 hours in advance of the course date and time, a partial refund may be rewarded (up to 50% of booking fees). If student attempts to cancel class within 24 hours of course date and time, no refund will be issued, but student will have the option to reschedule course one time per the reschedule policy. Rescheduling Policy: If you need to reschedule a course, you may do so at no cost if reschedule is requested 48 hours or more prior to the course. You may only reschedule one time, and rescheduled appointments are not eligible for cancellation or refunds. If reschedule is requested within 48 hours of the course, a $25 reschedule fee will be applied prior to attendance in the course. If student "no-call, no-show's" to a course and requests to reschedule after their missed course, the student will be required to pay the full catalog price of their desired course prior to registration.
