PEDIATRIC ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT (PALS)
Our AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification course provides comprehensive training to help you learn the skills to save a child's life. Our course is designed to teach you the latest techniques and strategies for providing advanced life support to pediatric patients. Our instructors are experienced and knowledgeable, and will provide you with the tools and resources you need to become a certified PALS provider.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is a course designed to teach healthcare professionals the skills and knowledge needed to save a child's life. This certification is designed for healthcare professionals who work with children, such as doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other medical personnel. The course covers topics such as airway management, resuscitation, and pharmacology. We offer initial and renewal certification at our Redding, Chico, Medford, Woodland, and Eureka Offices.

Course Offerings
Our Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) programs have several course offerings to suit your needs:
- First Time (Initial) Certification: If this is your first first time taking PALS, or if your previous PALS certification has expired, you will take a blended format.
- Prior the course, students are required to complete the online precourse work. This can be found at: https://elearning.heart.org/course/426
- After completion of the online component, students will attend a 1-day classroom session to attain their certification.
- Renewal Students: If you're renewing your PALS, we offer a one-day update course that focuses on the bradycardia and tachycardia algorithms, Megacode practice, and airway management.

Book Information
The PALS Provider manual is required for all students and must be present during the course. The provider manual can purchased as a physical book or an eBook from our website HERE.

PALS certification cards
Upon completion of our course, students will receive a provider card that is valid for a period of 2 years. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support provider card from the American Heart Association. If students lose their cards or need a replacement, they can go to: www.ecards.heart.org/student/myecards or give us a call.
