Kiser CPR, LLC is an American Heart Association (AHA) Training Site, and a Health and Safety Institute (HSI) Training Center. As part of our culture of outreach, we are excited to offer instructor training in many states around the country.

Learn From the Best

Become an American Heart Association or Health and Safety Institute instructor and learn how to teach others about heart health. Our instructors are certified by the American Heart Association and have the knowledge and experience to help you become a successful instructor. Our instructors are passionate about teaching and helping others learn about heart health, and they will provide you with the tools and resources you need to become a successful instructor.

Comprehensive Training

Our comprehensive training program will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to become an American Heart Association instructor. Our program give's instructor candidates the tools they'll need to start teaching for their organization, or built a successful entrepreneurial training site. At the end of the course and monitoring, instructor candidates will be given access to our systems. This will allow new instructors to teach independently. We are not into hand-holding or micromanaging; as long as you're doing it the right way, we will do nothing but support you.

The Process

1. All instructor candidates must complete an AHA new instructor application, found HERE

2. Instructor Candidates (IC) must have a current provider card for any discipline they're looking to teach

3. IC's must complete the Instructor Essentials Online for any discipline they're looking to teach. These can be purchased from the AHA for around $42.00 HERE

4. Once items 1-3 are complete, please fill out the form at the Bottom of this page or click HERE. Please upload your provider card(s) and instructor application when you complete the form.

5. Our team will send you an invoice for the course if we accept your application. Once paid, we will schedule your instructor course at a date/time that works for you.

Once Certified

Once you are certified, instructor are required to teach courses in accordance with AHA guidelines and the Program Administrative Manual. All instructors are required to teach a minimum of 2 classes per year. Additionally, instructors must maintain current copies of the instructor manual and the course videos for each discipline they wish to teach.
